Does a search with no matching names mean I can register?
No. A name search cannot rule out every earlier right, image similarity, classification issue or reason an application may be refused. It is a screening step, not a clearance opinion or a guarantee of registration.
Why do I need to describe my goods or services?
Trademark applications are organized by classes of goods and services. Your description helps the search suggest classes worth checking. The final classes and filing wording should be reviewed before an application is submitted.
Can this search check my logo or image?
No. This self-service tool searches trademark names and text similarity. It does not compare artwork, stylized lettering or other figurative elements. An advisor can explain when deeper visual review would be useful.
What if the search is incomplete or unavailable?
The result will show its coverage. You can try again later or request a free preliminary search opinion from an advisor. An incomplete search should not be treated as a clear result.
